With Love From Sicily, 

From 1993 to 1997, Sicily held a special place in my heart as one of my favourite locations for photo productions. I found myself repeatedly drawn to the island's captivating blend of history and culture, returning time and again to capture its essence through fashion shoots and commercial projects. I was captivated by the intriguing juxtaposition of real-life scenes and cinematic clichés, where everyday attire seemed to mirror that of characters from the silver screen. The pervasive influence of Catholicism in the region left a lasting impression on me, evident in the cultural references woven into daily life.

One photo shoot remains vivid in memory, set amidst the picturesque landscapes around Taormina and featuring model IVONA. Styled by the exceptional duo of KIM GRENÅ and UFFE BUCHARD, the shoot exclusively showcased the elegant designs of Dolce & Gabbana. I attempted to capture Sicily's unique allure, where tradition, fashion, and history unite, providing endless inspiration for artistic pursuits.
