“When I recently went through a stressful period, it prompted me to step back. During that time, I turned to this image as a form of meditation. Flowers have long symbolised mindfulness, ever since the lotus became an icon of spiritual reflection.

Reflecting on life and inspired by the powerful Roman phrase carpe diem — ‘seize the day’ — I have for a long time now explored the idea of living fully in the present moment, which is not as easy as it may sound. To deepen the narrative, I incorporated a subtle skull at the centre, symbolising the fragility of life.

Looking ahead, I’m expanding this concept into several carefully curated editions:

Current edition: 25 + 5 AP in the original pink version with skull.

Future editions (launching next year): additional limited runs in deep orange and black and white.

Skull-free variant: limited edition of 25 without the skull motif.

Diamond dust edition: an ultra-limited edition of 7 + 3 AP featuring hand-applied diamond dust on the skull for added effect and emphasis on the narrative.”
