Artwork description: “Captured with my Leica M6 in 2005, a few years after 9/11, this photograph marks a significant moment during a work trip to New York. One afternoon, I returned to my hotel room and looked out the window. The view felt almost surreal as if I were staring directly at the site where the Twin Towers once stood. My eyes were then drawn to a massive billboard at the base of the building, promoting a John Lennon album. There was a huge contrast of emotions at that moment, a profound sense of loss. Yet a comforting reminder in John Lennon's words”, "Give peace a chance”.
