Artwork description: “On July 7, 2006, I attended Paris's Christian Lacroix haute couture runway show. I was there to do a photoshoot titled "In the Womb," set in the city's heart. Commissioned by Big Show Couture magazine, I collaborated with the immensely talented editor and stylist Marko Matysik. Our mission was to capture the essence of Parisian haute couture by showcasing the artisans who breathed life into its timeless creations—from the skilled milliners to the meticulous embroiderers and tailors, all working in the historic workshops that have fuelled the couture industry for generations”.
