Description:
The Mirror: No Judgement explores the experience of navigating the constant stream of thoughts and evaluations that shape our perception of ourselves and the world. The “mirror” in the title refers to self-reflection—how we see and define ourselves through internal and external lenses. “No Judgement” is a call to release the habitual need to criticise, categorise, and compare, inviting instead a state of open awareness.

This work was featured in my 2022 exhibition “Thus Far” at Bredgade, Copenhagen.

This work reflects on the heightened culture of judgment amplified by social media—where self-perception is continually influenced by comparison, validation, and information overload. It raises questions about how we process this relentless input and whether we can learn to let go, to live more mindfully, and to reconnect with a sense of presence and compassion.

Part of an ongoing series examining the changing human condition, The Mirror: No Judgement is a meditation on perception, awareness, and the possibility of seeing without distortion.
